Herb's Description

Cannabis sativa Linn. An annual, 75 cm-1.5 m tall, slender herb. Stem and branches slightly angular with apprised hairs, Leaves palmately 3-9 foliolate, lobes sessile, narrowly lanceolate, upper surface scabrid with stiff hairs, lower surface more or less densely pubescent. Male flowers 4-6 mm across, greenish. Female flowers as large as the perigonium. Perigonium entire, membranous, broadly ovate. Achene 3-4 mm in diameter, shining, yellowish-brown, minutely pilose to glabrous, ovate; seeds only with fleshy unilateral endosperm.
